National Entrepreneurship Policy: Current Progress and Updates

The Meetup at GJU “Jabal Amman” explored the progress and updates of the National
Entrepreneurship Policy. Discussions covered defining entrepreneurship and innovation, emphasizing global
thinking with local adaptation. Key components included an M&E plan, collaboration between the ministry and
universities, and facilitating registrations for startups. The Ministry’s active involvement showcased their
commitment to the field. Access to finance, supported by MODEE’s platform, Startups Jo, was discussed, urging
banks to understand and support startups’ needs. The meetup aimed to foster collaboration, advocacy, and
government support to empower sustainable and successful entrepreneurship in Jordan.
